4. Baldness solution

Female pattern baldness is a type of hair loss that affects women. In women, the first signs of female pattern baldness may be a widening part or a feeling that the hair does not feel as thick as usual. Although the scalp may be visible, the hairline usually does not recede. Hair loss is less frequent in women than in men, but it still occurs often. Female pattern baldness increases with age, and fewer than 50 percent of women have a full head of hair for their entire life.

Peppermint oil can help stimulate hair growth because of its ability to increase blood circulation around the scalp. One of the best home made remedy to reduce the signs of early baldness especially in women is, a simple scalp massage once a week with this mixture of hair oils

Pumpkin seed oil, castor oil and peppermint essential oil. The combination of these will not only reduce baldness but also promotes growth in those bald spots.

Mix 1/2 tablespoon of Cold Pressed, Hexane Free Castor oil with 2 tablespoons of Cold Pressed Pumpkin seed oil. Mix them well and warm the oil for 1 minute in double boiler or simply place the bowl half way into a mug of hot water to warm the oil for a minute.

After 1 minute, add 3 drops of Peppermint essential oil into the mixture of oils and apply only to scalp focusing on the receding hair lines and bald spots.

Wash your hair with a mild shampoo after 6 hours and condition as usual.

This should be done at least once every week till 90 days even before judging the result or impact.

5. Hair growth

Using essential oils in your Scalp massage oils is one of the best way to increase hair growth and reduce hair thinning. Using some of the best cold pressed and unrefined oils for your scalp not only helps to regain your moisture in your hair but also repair the hair shaft that is damaged due to severe heat and styling.

Here’s How to increase Hair growth using peppermint essential oil

Take any one carrier Oil of your choice. I like to use the following oils for my hair. I sometimes use any one oil or mix a couple of oils for a more deep conditioning effect.

Coconut oil
Jojoba Oil
Castor oil
Almond Oil
Grape seed oil

After you have chosen your favorite carrier oil of your choice, Take a small bowl and add 2 tablespoons of that oil in it. Warm the oil using the double boiling method, i.e., Fill the mug half way with hot water and now take that small bowl  which has oil and dip half way into the water for 5 minutes to warm the oil a little.

I prefer warming the oil in this way rather than warming it in the Microwave. Because, the later will over heat the oil and that evaporates the essential fatty acids in it.

Intense hot oil treatment for dry hair

After warming the oil a bit, add 3 drops of peppermint essential oil in it and mix it well.

Section your hair and apply the oil only to your SCALP. Massage for 5 minutes and comb your hair using a wooden bristle brush to distribute the oil and encourage blood circulation to your entire scalp.

After 6 hours or overnight, wash your hair with a Mild Shampoo and condition it as usual.

Repeat this once every week to visible results.

6. Get rid of Head Lice

One of the most irritating and embarrassing things to do in public is scratching your head like a school going kid. Head Lice is a common problem to many, not just for kids. They can spread by personal contact or the sharing of combs, brushes, caps, and other clothing.

Head lice is the most common problem with preschool and schoolchildren, and when adults share their beds with these kids they are cent precent prone to have lice on their heads too the next morning.

So it is easy to transmit head lice from one person to another

One of the best way to treat Head lice is by using Peppermint essential oil and Neem.

Add 2 tablespoons of Cod Pressed Neem oil in a small bowl. Mix 4 drops of peppermint essential oil in it.

Apply this oil to your scalp and massage for 5 minutes.

Take a Lice Comb and comb all over your hair in sections. Kill those Lice which come out and clean the comb after you are done.

Neem with Peppermint essential oil acts as a powerful Lice medicine. It makes them unconscious and cannot move as fast as they will normally. So, it will be easy to comb away all the nice few minutes after applying this mixture of Neem and Peppermint essential oil.

If you want to use the same method for a school going kid, reduce the ratios by half, i.e., 1 tablespoon of Neem with 2 drops of peppermint essential oil should be enough.
