How to Use Essential oils to remove dark spots
Essential oils can be included in your daily skin care routine in various ways. I will show your some of the common methods I use to get most of the benefits of these essential oils.
1. Using Essential oils in serums:
I guess this is the most common method that most of us follow to use essential oils in our skin care. I personally love this method because I love to use serums on my face that are especially made of non-comedogenic carrier oils. Using essential oils in serums is one of the easiest and also reap many benefits to your skin.
Using essential oils in serum is so easy. If you already have a natural and organic carrier oil based serum, you can either mix 6-8 drops of any essential of your choice (among-st mentioned above) in a 30ml quantity of serum. Shake the bottle well so that the essential oils gets mixed up well.
Now you can use this serum to apply to your face once in a day, preferably in the night after cleansing your face.
Although many use essential oil with their night creams, I specially wont recommend doing so because we are unaware of how the chemical formulation of the cream may effect the potency of the essential oils. To be on the safe side, It is always better to avoid using essential oil with chemicals based creams or lotions.
2. Using Essential oils in Toners:
Mix 6 drops of any essential oil from the above list or from a combination of essential oils in a 30ml quantity of toner. Shake well to mix the essential oil and water. Store this mixture in your refrigerator (not in the freezer obviously.!) after use.
Use this Toner once every day after you cleanse your face, for better results.
3. Using Essential oils in Face packs and Scrubs:
Choosing the right face packs for your skin type can benefit your skin a lot. While face packs can enhance your skin’s brightness scrubs can actually work wonders by removing dead skin and blackheads if any.
One of the pore minimizing mud face pack that you can try is- French Green Clay mask to Cleanse your pores and reduce the size of Large pores
Best Brightening face scrub for sensitive skin- Oatmeal Scrub for sensitive skin and all skin problems
After you choose a face mask/scrub that is best suited for your skin, you can mix 1-2 drops of any of the essential oils mentioned above with the ingredients of your face scrubs/mask before applying them.
Do not use face mask/scrubs more than twice or thrice a month.
Note: Opt only one method through which you want to include these essential oils in your daily skin care routine to reduce dark spots or age spots. So not adapt all these methods in your daily skin care. Over using essential oils is not at all recommended as they are highly potent and makes your skin sensitive.
