The Body shop Tea Tree skin clearing facial wash REVIEW with ingredients

Before getting into the body shop tea tree face wash review, Let me share something about my skin with you guys.

My face is kinda oily at the checks and nose. So I generally choose those face washes that aren’t too drying or too moisturizing. I tried many face washes which either claims to reduce oiliness but actually dries out my skin or claims to moisturize without making your face oily but end up making super oily after 2 hours or so. 🙁

After trying and searching for so many face washes in the hope to dig one which suits my skin or most probably understands my skin, I ended up losing my hope. I then used pears glycerin soap for few months, though not a perfect fit for my face, but yeah it was mild and kept that oiliness at bay at least for 5-6 hrs.

* winter time*. It is then I realized that my face was so dry and flaky, definitely not getting the enough moisturization it needed. Of course I agree, that in winters our skin need more moisturization than the usual days. U may think “ain’t she using moisturizer or any cold cream sort of?” haha :p   oh c’mon..!! Of course I do. But What if you are doing the first most important step of caring your skin- cleansing in the wrong way.

The first time I washed my face with The Body Shop Tea Tree skin clearing facial wash:

The first time I was trying this face wash, I felt so excited ( Damn.! I really find excited to try new products, I don’t know why :p ). I cleansed my face for a good 1-minute, I could feel some menthol coolness after my face is washed and pat dry. My skin was so clean and smooth.

The Body shop Tea Tree face wash Pros and Cons:

🙂 The benefits of tea tree. Good for any skin type, especially for blemished skin.

🙂 A mild face wash that Gives a cooling effect after you wash you face. Kinda relaxing?

🙂 I cant exactly say but it did fade away my light acne marks or its because I also use this gel.?

🙂 Controlled my zits to some extent.

🙂 Doesn’t dry out the skin even in winters.

🙁 Sodium Laureth Sulfate??? Like really? I didn’t expect this. It doesn’t even lather much if there is even a light makeup on your face or any kinda dirt and impurities. I personally prefer to wash my face twice before going to bed. It is then I feel my face is clean now. :p

🙁 Not so travel friendly packaging. The usual TBS tub/bottle like packaging this face wash has. You cant carry a big shampoo like bottle everyday to your office or workplace right? 😀

🙁 Price is obviously a little high. But by seeing the quantity I feel it’s OK by calculating the other face washes’ prices and quantities. hahaha… :p

Worth a try? Yup.!! Surely give it a try once. Who knows, you might find solutions to some of your skin problems this winter. 😉

Buy it from here..

Did you use the face wash already? Or you gonna give it a try? Let’s have a chit chat in the comments section below 🙂
