The body shop Rainforest shine Shampoo and Conditioner Review and Ingredients

Hey busy beauties.!! I have got you all a super exciting review this time. The Body shop Rainforest shine shampoo and conditioner are the two products that I am going to review for you guys today. One thing I can surely say, once you start loving the body shop products you’ll neither be able to move to some other brand nor stop using them. :p This happened to me ๐Ÿ˜› . So be careful ๐Ÿ˜€

After I have smoothened ( as they call “smoothening” in salons, i didn’t know the past perfect word for that.so please excuse me :p ) my hair has become so brittle and feels so lifeless. It has become so dry and rough. It is then i decided to something to my hair to give back its shine and health that it used be earlier…

P.S: If you want me to describe my horrible hair smoothening story, please let me know in the comments section below. I’ll write a separateย article on it. So that you guys will be aware of the pros and cons of smoothening/ straitening your hair permanently.

Washing your hair properly with a proper shampoo and conditioner it then after that suits your hair type is really really important to a healthier hair and scalp. So here is a review of The Body Shop Rainforest shampoo and conditioner for you.

The Body Shop Rainforest shine Shampoo and Conditioner Review and Ingredients

The Body Shop Rainforest Shine Shampoo Review

What the product says: Leaves the the hair healthy looking with incredible shine. For best results, mix in the hands with water to create lather. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with Shine conditioner.

The bodyshop Rainforest champoo review

How I use-I generally take the shampoo in one palm full and work in lather with my both hands concentrating more on my scalp. I don’t usually apply shampoo at the ends as it makes the hair so frizzy and dry stripping away all the natural oils in it. (As you wash away your scalp, the shampoo as it washes away will also cleanse your ends)

Ingredients:ย There’s no ingredients listed on the bottle except- ” With pracaxi oil, cameline seed oil and Community Fair trade olive oil” listed in the front of the bottle. I guess you may find the complete list of ingredients on their website.

Net quantity: 250ml

Price : 795/- INR

Odor, color and texture: It has a nice and pleasant jasmine kinda smell that lingers the whole day- on the day you have washed your hair. It has no color. It has a runny texture like any other shampoo has.

The bodyshop Rainforest shampoo review

I have already used one bottle of this and brought a new one just few days back. So here I am today with a review of this shampoo for you.

๐Ÿ™‚ Cleanses away dirt and leaves your scalp squeaky clean.

๐Ÿ™‚ doesn’t make your hair dry. Suitable for normal to dry hair an oily hair. Doesn’t strip away the natural oils.

๐Ÿ™‚ Controlled frizz better than any other shampoo i have ever used till now.

๐Ÿ™‚ It has a nice flowery kinda smell that lingers all day long.

๐Ÿ™‚ Cant say on the shine part, because i never just shampoo my hair and leave. But with conditioner, yes..! It does adds shine to my hair.

๐Ÿ™‚ Travel friendly.

๐Ÿ™‚ No SILICONES, No SULPHATES , No COLOURANTS, No PARABENS …. Yaay..!!

๐Ÿ™ May end up using a lot of shampoo, especially when you have oiled your hair. As it doesn’t lather much when your scalp is either oily or dirty ( 3rd/4th day of your hair :p )

๐Ÿ™ So, when you use more shampoo on those oily hair days, you’ll obviously end up the bottle quickly. So 795/- will not last that long. Mine lasted for 3 months, as I have medium-length hair.

The Body Shop Rainforest Shine Conditioner Review

What the product says: Conditions to smooth the hair’s surface for incredible shine and radiance. For best results, mix in the hands with water. Work through hair from roots to tip. Rinse. (“Root to tips”?? ย  *skeptical”)

The bodyshop Rainforest conditioner review

How I use-I take enough product in my palm and add few drops of water to it as directed. Mix in my hands well and apply to the length of my hair without touching to the scalp. Leave it for a good 7-10 min and rinse i off. I once tried applying this conditioner from roots to the tips as said, Made my hair on the head super smooth and silky but had little hair fall. So then after i didn’t dared to apply it on my scalp. :p

Ingredients:ย There’s no ingredients listed on this bottle as well except- ” With pracaxi oil, cameline seed oil and Community Fair trade olive oil” listed in the front of the bottle. I guess you may find the complete list of ingredients on their website.

Net quantity: 250ml

Price : 795/- INR

Odor, color and texture: The shampoo and the conditioner kinda have sameย odorย and this even lingers the whole day- on the day you have washed your hair and conditioned it. It has White color.. and a creamy texture.

The bodyshop Rainforest conditioner review

This is still my first bottle, It is about to finish in a week. As my hair’s length is not too long, i use only a small amount of it.

๐Ÿ™‚ Adds shine. Made my hair smooth.

๐Ÿ™‚ Easily detangles the hair.

๐Ÿ™‚ My ends were less dry and rough.

๐Ÿ™‚ Easily absorbs into the hair as soon as you apply. Doesn’t weigh down your hair.

๐Ÿ™‚ ย No SILICONES, No SULPHATES , No COLOURANTS, No PARABENS …. Yaay..!!

๐Ÿ™‚ Travel friendly too.

๐Ÿ™ If applied to roots of your hair as directed, it may cause hair fall.

๐Ÿ™ A normal mild, good conditioner. Extremely Frizzy hair beauties my not satisfy with this conditioner.

Overall, A good combo for this winter. Both the shampoo and the conditioner are Mild, chemicals-free, SLS free. If you are looking for a more strong conditioner for your hair, you may try some other. But these two are definitely worth a try at least once.
