Soultree Licorice Hair Repair Shampoo Review, Ingredients and How to use..!
This is one of the shampoo I have been thinking of trying for so long. After using The body Shop Rainforest Shampo and conditioner for more than 11 months, I thought its the time try something new for my hair.
But I am very skeptical to use any shampoo that is not truly Chemical free. So in the search of one, I came across Soultree Licorice Hair Repair Shampoo. I used it for more than 3 months now. I wash my hair 2 times every week, and this shampoo is still left to be used for 15 more days.
Here is my Soultree Licorice Hair Repair Shampoo Review for you all. Hope you are having a wonderful day, just lay back and read the review to make the best buy. 🙂
Let’s start with the packaging…
Packaging is quite sturdy and well finished with a press pump to get the product out. It comes in a amber color frost finish plastic bottle and a small cap to close the pump opening. The label is waterproof. No matter how many times it gets wet in your showers, the label will be still intact ever you finish with the product.
I may not re-use this stuff unlike the steel or glass packaging.
It may not be travel friendly as the cap is not tight or intact to the bottle. It may slip away anytime in your bag and the pump may get pressed easily thus leading to the spillage of shampoo in your bag.

Soul tree Licorice Hair Repair Shampoo Review
Read on know more about the texture, foaming abilities and the effectiveness of the product. I will brief about the pros and cons Soul tree Licorice Hair Repair Shampoo later in this post after I write my opinion. so if you want to know the pros and cons and you can jump directly to that portion skipping this.
What’s my opinion??
Coming to the texture of the shampoo, its thick and jelly kind as shown in the picture below. The smell of the shampoo is more of herbal and natural. It smells more like Shikakai. Thought the smells is very pleasant, it doesn’t last long more than 2-3 hours.
Soul tree Licorice Hair Repair Shampoo doesn’t lather much. In the process of removing the oil out of your hair, you may end up using more product. As we are all used to SLS and paraben shampoo it becomes quite difficult to adapt to a chemical free shampoo in the beginning. It was for me too.
Bu trust me, it worth the patience and try. An organic and herbal shampoo can do wonders for the scalp and the hair unlike other SLS shampoos.
Soul tree Licorice Hair Repair Shampoo cleans the scalp very well. I feel my scalp is very fresh and clean after washing my hair with this shampoo. I skipped my conditioner to check if the shampoo is drying. And to my shock, it was. It was indeed drying to my oily scalp if i only use this shampoo skipping the conditioner. Which is really bad. 🙁
I cannot comment on the part of reducing the dandruff or hair fall, as I do not have these problems (thank god and my organic hair care routine).
Let’s quickly go through the Pros and cons of Soul tree Licorice Hair Repair Shampoo to get a more clear picture on whether this a worth try product.
> No SLS/ Parabens . Organic certfied ingredients. BDIH Certified.
> Cleans the scalp thoroughly and promotes healthy hair growth.
> Gives great shine and volume to the hair, Adds a bounce .
> Cruelty free shampoo. Not tested on animals.
> Refreshing smell. No pungent or string smell.
> Suitable for all air types, especially best for sensitive scalp.
> Doesn’t easily remove the oil out of hair. May end of using more product if you have no patience or hurrying up.
