QUICK treatment for Dry and Chapped Cuticles Using Just 1 Ingredient..!!

Dry and chapped cuticles are not just unpleasing to eyes to look at but also the burning sensation that they cause is not something anyone deserves to endure. With everyday wear and tear and continuous use of chemically laided nail polishes, acetone based nail polish removers.. makes your nails dark, dull, and causes your cuticles to become dry and chapped very quickly. We all deserve some extra TLC especially during this time where washing we are washing our hands number of times in a day.

Nail Treatments need not be complicated and expensive. You will be surprised to know that just by using one ingredient, you can bring back life to your dry and chapped cuticles and nails. Excited to know what it is?

Jojoba oil

If there is one single carrier oil that can repair, nourish and protect your nails and cuticles then that is Pure Cold pressed Jojoba oil. This is an ideal solution for nail cleansing and nail fungus.

Jojoba oil is deeply nourishing to nails and is also able to repair damaged collagen matrix inside nail beds, improving strength and promoting healthy nail growth.

The most crucial vitamin which is essential to keep your nails strong, healthy and shiny is Vitamin E. Almost all the nail treatments are loaded with this vitamin and the jojoba oil contains natural forms of vitamin E in it which acts as an antioxidant.

This means that the Jojoba oil can fight oxidative stress caused by everyday exposure to pollutants and other toxins to give you smooth, shiny and healthy nails for long.

How to Use Jojoba oil to treat Dry and Chapped Cuticles

Jojoba oil is easily available in any local H&G store near you or you can shop online it online too. Make sure that you buy 100% pure cold pressed oil which is free of any kind of adulteration.

Some of the best brands who offer pure 100% Jojoba oil are,
1. Juicy Chemistry 100% Organic Jojoba Cold Pressed Carrier Oil
2. Nature’s Absolutes Cold Pressed Castor Carrier Oil
3. Deve Herbes Pure Golden Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis) 100% Natural Therapeutic Grade Cold Pressed oil

To use Jojoba oil to treat Dry and chapped cuticles, put 4 drops of Jojoba oil onto your nails on each hand and gently massage your nails using your finger tips for 5 minutes.

Quick Tip: Carry a small Jojoba oil bottle too in your purse, like how you carry your sanitizer and use it to moisturize your nails whenever they feel dry.

Let the oil soak in and treat your cuticles. If your nails are really very brittle and your cuticles are dry and chapped, then apply Jojoba oil twice daily to your nails using above method. Once in the morning and once before going to bed.

Repeat for at least 45 days to see any visible difference. Do not use any chemicals like nail polish or nail polish removers during this treatment. Avoid all together if possible.

I personally don’t prefer using nail polish or paints to my nails. The last time I used it was on my marriage which was two years ago 😀 Trust me, you will see a visible difference in your nails’ health once you ditch all these polishes and removers. These are made with high concentrations of alcohols and acetones which make your nails very dull, dark and brittle over use.
