Why KAMA Ayurveda Mridul Soap-Free Face Cleanser Review ?

If your have already read why I washed my face with just water for one month and my secret recipe to a soap free facial cleanser, you will know that I am against any facial cleansers that are foaming and are loaded with loads of Sh*ty chemicals.

Although It’s been more than a year since I have started using my own facial cleanser and the results that I noticed were more than I expected, I wanted to try something new for a change, but that should also be a soap free similar to mine. *strings attached*

So that’s how I decided to give this a KAMA Ayurveda Mridul Soap-Free Face Cleanser a try, and its almost 3 months and here is my review for your guys. 🙂

KAMA Ayurveda Mridul Soap-Free Face Cleanser [ REVIEW ]

Let’s start with the packaging…

I am in love with the packaging. Its so *feel-like-home* kinda packaging. 😀

The steel container with a study and tight cap provides a good grip so that the powder wont end up spilling even thought you are travelling. It has good a small cute wooden spoon with it.

It is eco-friendly and zero harm to the nature. 100% reusable  and travel friendly. I will be very happy, if all the others brands also come up with such kind of reusable packaging ideas. I have no problem in paying few more extra bucks for it. Becasue, even though the product is finished, the container can be reused for life time. Very useful for DIY- beauty junkies like me 🙂

In fact, Once this is finished, I am gonna use this container to store my secret soap free cleanser in it. 🙂

KAMA Ayurveda Mridul Soap-Free Face Cleanser Review

I have used it for more than 2 months now. The product is almost about to finish, so here is my review for you all . 🙂

What’s my opinion??

My Skin Type: Oily Skin.

The powder is finely grind-ed. It feels soft to touch. There are no hard particles that pay abrade your skin. It’s not even that fine powder as your face dusting powder. Just the right texture to exfoliate your skin mildly.

I use this KAMA Ayurveda Mridul Soap-Free Face Cleanser twice or a maximum of up to 3 times per week since I don’t use any makeup or products and Just wash my face with water the rest of the days.

There is no rocket science to use this. I am so amused by the people who says it is very clumpy and messy to use soap free cleanser. Just take a little amount of product and few drops of either rose water or normal water. Mix it in your palms and gently wash your face with the paste.

For more exfoliating benefits, massage your face with this mixture for 2 minutes before washing off your face with cold water.

Remember, no harsh scrubbing. Just gently. That’s ow you treat your skin. 🙂

Instant results: You can feel your skin is so soft, fresh, and cool ( may be due to the camphor). Not drying at all.

After 2 months: I have little spots left due to the acne. I cannot say that they are completely vanished, but yeah, they are faded a little. Nothing more than that. My acne still comes up occasionally, when ever my hormones feels crazy.  😛 No product can ever stop that.

Pros:

> Not-drying at all. *One of the most important thing i look for in a cleanser*

> Zero harm Ingredients. No preservatives, no colorants and no fragrances. *yaay*

> Refreshing and cooling, immediately after washing face.

> Makes skin super soft.

>Improves skin tone. A perfect remedy for de-tanning at home.

Cons:

>Price of course ..!  Don’t you think the cost it too much for only 40 grams. I mean, I can make the same, 5 times of this quantity at home using the same ingredients. In fact I made mine with more interesting ingredients though 😀

> If use makeup, this is not for you. Sorry..! :/

One Last Line..

If you are not one of those who believe that cleansing it not an act of foaming or using harsh chemicals on your face. This is one for you. Go for it. You are gonna love it for sure. 🙂

Is there any one who have already tried it ? How did you like it? And if you did not yet tried this, would you like to give it a try?
