You can use Fenugreek water for hair in two ways:

1. Fenugreek Hair Rinse

Fenugreek water for Hair

For this method, you need to boil a Tablespoon of Fenugreek Seeds with 2 cups of water.

Let the water simmer for about 5-6 minutes.

Turn off the stove and let the water cool down to room temperature.

Strain the liquid into a mug and keep it aside in your Hair wash area.

After you shampoo your hair and condition it, rinse your hair with this Fenugreek water in the end.

Fenugreek seeds, also called methi seeds, are rich in protein, iron, and vitamins that are thought to prevent both hair loss and dandruff. Boiling the seeds in water will let the seeds release all the goodness into it.

You need not rinse your hair after you rinse it with this water.

Repeat this hair rinse twice weekly to get shiny, soft and silky hair.

2. Fenugreek Hair Spray

You can use this method if you do not have Fenugreek seeds in your home but have fenugreek powder.

In that case, take a tablespoon of fenugreek powder and mix it with one glass of water (Approx. 250ml).

Mix well and transfer it into a spray bottle.

Now part your hair into small sections and spray this fenugreek water first on to the roots of your hair followed by your mid length and finally to the ends of your hair.

Massage your hair for 5 minutes and then tie your hair up in a bun.

Cover your hair with a shower cap and wait for 20 minutes.

Now wash your hair with a mild shampoo and you can skip the conditioner if you wish to, as you will anyway not feel the need to condition your hair.

Do not use this method of feungreek water for you hair in winters if you are susceptible to catching cold easily.

I generally prefer using the first method, because of the love towards hair rinses. I like hair rinses than anything else as part of my hair care routine.

Do try this and let me know how your hair feels after you wash your hair.. 🙂
