DIY Underarm DETOX and COLOR Correction Mask with Just 3 ingredients

I haven’t talked about Underarm care on this blog much, have I? Agree it or not. Underarms the most under cared body part in our entire body. Isn’t it? It too needs some TLC too. Trust me, a little care and this tried and tested Underarm DETOX and COLOR Correction Mask  to lighten your underarm is all you need to get back flawless, baby smooth underarms that you once had in your teenage

But don’t you what to know Why detoxing underarms is really necessary or why its even considered as the first step to underarm routine?

Why Underarm Detox is necessary?

Armpit detoxification can help the body rid itself of toxins that have built up on the skin. It may also help to reduce the capacity of sweat glands and the amount of odor they produce. Antiperspirants or deodorants which are actually designed to reduce sweating, cause more of it due to the chemicals in it. These even cause adverse  skin reactions if neglect the small skin reactions in the longer use.

A great advantage to doing an armpit detox, besides that it helps speed up the natural deodorant adjustment period, is that it might help pull some of these chemicals out of the skin and tissue of the armpits. This can be especially helpful after years of conventional deodorant use. We are gonna do this with the right mixture of beneficial chemical buildup absorbing clays and astringents. So say yaay..! 🙂

How to make your own Underarm Detox and Color Correction Mask

This is a simple mask which is made with just 3 ingredients. This recipe is perfect for those whose underarm are thicken due to chemical buildup and has eventually become dark.  Ready to try on the mask? Then Let’s get started.

Ingredients:

1. French Green Clay

2. Activated Charcoal

3. Apple cider Vinegar

4. A non-metal mixing bowl and a measuring spoon.

Recipe:

To prepare this mask, it is necessary to use only a non-metal bowl and a spoon. As we are using French green clay here or may be any other clays in that case have ionic charge that helps to attract and pull out the dirt and oil clogged in our pores. If these clays are mixed in a metallic bowl, the ionic gets negatively charged and loose their properties. That means, in that case it makes no difference if you are using or not using a clay.

So now, let’s get into the recipe.

1. Take one tablespoon of French Green Clay into a non-metallic bowl and add a pinch of (approximately 1/4 teaspoon) of Activated Charcoal powder into it.

2. Now add two teaspoon of Apple cider vinegar and mix all the ingredients well.

3. Let me mixture be semi-liquidy. Which means not so thick as a paste and no too runny as oil.

4. Now Wash your underarms well and pat dry with a cotton wash cloth. Apply a thin layer of this mask on each of your underarms. After 10 minutes, apply an another layer of this mask on the same area where the mask is already 90% dry.

I just follow this method because, the skin near the underarm area is a little thick and a lot darker as compared to any other body part of ours. So, allowing the mask to stay a little longer in that area is like giving it more time to work. *If that makes any sense*

5. After the mask dries off completely, wash off the area with either just plain water or rose water and pat dry. That completes your underarm detox session. 😀

How Often to detox your underarm using this Underarm DETOX and COLOR Correction Mask

If you over sweat, use this mask not more than twice a week and the others can use it once a week for better results. Repeat for a month or two until you see noticeable results.
