Biotique Bio Aloe Vera sunscreen review SPF 50+

OK. First of all, Oily skin beauties.. raise your hands. No one knows more about our oily skin problems than us. Right? WE need to double check every product. We need to prepare our own checklist while buying a product, like does it clogs pores? Does it make my skin more oily? Do i look like white ghost ( white cast problems) with that foundation? And so on. It just an never-ending list. *sigh*

My skin isn’t just oily but it also prone to acne with frequent breakouts. This makes me more conscious while picking any new product, especially sunscreen.

So i was in search of one good sunscreen that will protect me from harmful UV rays and doesn’t clog by pores too. When I saw the ingredients of Biotique bio aloe Vera sunscreen, I thought I must give this a try.

Read on to know whether this is a Savior for me or a flop?

Let’s start with the packaging…

A classic tube kinda packaging. I like the color of the tube.. See how bright and orangey it is. 🙂 I generally prefer to use this kinda tube packaging products, because its completely hygienic way of taking the right amount of product you need . You gotta touch only that product that you are gonna apply. No contamination here, unlike those of tub packing products.

  • The tube is strong and sturdy.
  • Leak Proof
  • Travel friendly

1. Am I in any way allergic to these ingredients?
2. Are these ingredients safe on my skin?

Biotique Bio Aloe Vera sunscreen review

These are my views about Biotique bio Aloe Vera Sunscreen. I have used it for  more than 45 days and here goes my review for you all.

What’s my option??

My Skin Type: Oily. :/

I can say, I have found my HG Sunscreen now. 😀  This Sunscreen is so soothing to my skin that it easily gets absorbed. As you can see in the below pictures, the color of this sunscreen is white and it has a runny consistency ( not creamy.! thank god) kinda lotion. It glides over the skin so easily.

The fragrance of the product was not at all over powering. It has a sweet sandalwood-mixed-herbal aroma, Though the fragrance wont last for more than hour, I wish it could 🙂

And the best past is, as it is in lotion/runny consistency you don’t need a whole lot of product to apply. A pea sized amount was enough to me. If you over apply, you end up looking like an oil producing factory :p

Though it didn’t make my skin oily/greasy, reapplication was definitely needed after 2-3 hours if I am going outdoors again or if I am going to spend more time under sun.

I am 🙂 for

  • Natural Sunscreen with the power of Ayurveda
  • Blends well
  • Absorbs quickly
  • No greasiness.
  • No white cast on face.
  • prefect for daily use.
  • Equally effects on hands and legs too.
  • No preservatives.
  • No animal testing.

I am 🙁 for

  • Should be reapplied often if you are spending more time outdoors even though it has a SPF factor of 50+.  Don’t be surprised to see your tanned hands and feet, if you are in a dilemma that one time application would last me for whole day. 😛

One last Line.

A decent sunscreen with no nasty chemicals. Is safe on skin. For all those who are in a quest to get a natural sunscreen this summer, this is a must try product.

Do let me know in the comments below, which sunscreen are you using now and what do you hate about it. 😀

W2 Red Seaweed Sunscreen Review | Paraben free | SPF 30 & PA+++

Hey smarties..!! How are your summers going on.? 😀 Sun has already started showing its aggressiveness in some places in India by now. And its time to look for a better sunscreen before tan hits us.

I wanted to try something new this time, not the typical ones which are there for decades in the market with loads of parabens in it. Parabens may come in the form of butylparaben, ethylparaben, isobutylparaben, methylparaben, or propylparaben which helps to store those beauty products for years. These if used for long term, causes serious damage to the skin and may even develop skin allergies and cancer.

So i searched for the best paraben sunscreen to use his summer and found this. Let’s see if it  really helps you in these hot summers or not.

w2 seaweed sunscreen review

Price : 250 INR for 50 grams.

My take on the product:

W2 Red Seaweed Sunscreen Review

A normal tube kinda packaging, gives you a required amount on a single press. Is spill-proof and avoids wastage. But I felt, the tube is a little big for just 50 grams. The upper part in the tube is just air. This tube can actually take up-to 100 grams. If the tube is a little small,it would be cute and more travel friendly. 😀

The aroma of this w2 seaweed sunscreen is just so pleasant that you cant wait to smell it over and over again. It is neither overpowering nor an irritating  chemical kinda smell like few sunscreens have. I cannot exactly describe the fragrance but it is somewhat like a mixed smell of sandalwood powder and Multani Mitti (Fullers Earth). Some sort of herbal smell i can say.

Color & Texture:

It has a thick creamy texture. I have just spread it over my hand with just 2 stokes, and that is how it looks. The color is not completely white but has a lighter shade of half-white. I dont know why it shows white in color in this picture, may be because of light (sunlight)?

The first time I applied this sunscreen after washing my face, I experienced a little instant brightening effect on my face. It spread out so evenly and gave a matte finish which was perfect for applying any foundation thereafter.  I can say it is far better that my moisturizer or primer in this case. I was really surprised by how easily my skin has absorbed the sunscreen and dried quickly. No greasiness or whitish cast on my face. I am really skeptical about picking any sunscreen for my face, as I think that sunscreens make my skin more oily and shiny all over the day. *gross* I guess all the oily skin beauties like me are afraid of same. But this one, It even controlled the oil secretion on my face for a good 4-5 hours.

w2 seaweed sunscreen review

It may be a little drying for dry skin girls..but you can always use a moisturizer over it. One thing I observed was, you may also need to reapply the sunscreen you are gonna be more that 3 hours in the sun. One application and expecting it to work for the whole day long with this sunscreen wont help, especially if you are spending more time under sun.

w2 seaweed sunscreen review

Happy 🙂 for-

  • Spreads easily
  • Non-greasy. Even Suitable for oily skin
  • sweat-proof
  • Pleasant aroma
  • Gives a matte finish. Perfect as a base for foundation.
  • Has an instant brightening effect after application.
  • Doesn’t give whitish cast unlike other sunscreen
  • Doesn’t weigh your skin. So Light and spreads easily
  • Travel friendly packaging.

Disappointed 🙁 for-

  • A little pricey for the quantity given
  • May not be available everywhere. Availability may be an issue. I bought it from amazon.
  • You may need to reapply if you are staying in sun for more than 2 hours continuously.

Overall, A good Paraben free sunscreen that you can definitely give it a try for this summer. Do leave comments below about trying this new sunscreen this year. I’ll try to hunt for some more  good sunscreens for you all, and please do suggest me any sunscreen which you think I must try. 🙂 🙂

Toni and guy NOURISH conditioner review | Conditioner for dry hair

Hello smarties…!! How’s it all going? Today is valentine’s day, all of my friends are getting ready for a date and I am here writing a review of a conditioner? huh..! All the single ladies.. hands up..! 😀 LOL. Any way, I am happy that I’am writing this post for you girls. This is one such worthy product to talk about.

How did I encounter this product??

My Bodyshop Rainforest Conditioner was running out of the product and so when I visited a Health and glow store I stopped by when i  saw this Toni & guy nourish conditioner.Actually the price of both of these conditioners are same, so i thought why cant I give it a try? 😛 I don’t know why there were no shampoos of any variant there but I picked this Nourish variant conditioner made specially for dry hair.

TONI&GUY conditioner review

My hair type:

Once healthy, but now damaged due to straightening/smoothening done at a wrong place or by a wrong person? I don’t know, but my hair is completely life less and damaged AF.  So I am basically in the journey of making my hair the way healthy it was earlier.

What the Product says?

Moisturises and nourishes for manageably soft and smooth hair from root to tip.

Price of the product: 800 for 250ml

I don’t know why I wrote these ingredients in Caps 😛

  • The thing that catched my attention in the first was this classy packaging.Round, White with a blue and black font. It is absolutely gorgeous 🙂
  • It is travel friendly of course. The press cap at the top of the bottle is study and doesn’t allow the product to leak while travelling.

Toni&Guy NOURISH conditioner review

Texture and Color: Creamy and white in color. The product is neither too thick nor too runny. It didn’t weigh down my hair.

TONI&GUY conditioner review

TONI&GUY conditioner review

Fragrance:  Err..I cant describe the smell but its very pleasant, just like any other conventional conditioner kinds smell. But its not gross or pungent. It lingers on your hair for an hour or two. I really hope that it would last more. 🙂

My take on the product:

After i wash my hair, I generally take a good amount of product  according to the length of my hair and apply all over my ends and hair avoids the scalp part.

After about 10 minutes, I wash it off with normal water rather than hot water.

The product spreads evenly all over my hair without casting or leaving behind chinks of conditioner at part of the hair. I really liked the consistently of this conditioner. I could say that the testure of the Bodyshop Rainforest Conditioner  was a little more thick than this.

When My hair is wet

  • It gives me a tangle free mane.
  • A pleasant fragrance to my hair.
  • Dosen’t feel greasy or weigh down

When My hair is Air/towel dried

  • Soft and smooth Manageable hair.
  • softned my brittle and rough hair at the ends.
  • controlled frizz at a good extent
  • Must for dry and damaged hair as mine

Summing up:

I feel this is the best conditioner i found till date. I loved this product. I guess it will contribute its fair part to help me heal my damaged hair. I did not find any parabens or SLS in this product. So i hope it is still safe to use in the long run, though i wont stick to a product for a life time. 😛 May be for 6 or 8 months? 😉

Worth a buy??  Of course yeah.! You can at least give it a try and if you too are worrying what to do to your damaged and rough hair.. I guess this may give you an answer.

Do comment your concerns and views. And yeah..! you can even suggest me on which product to review next.

The body shop Rainforest shine Shampoo and Conditioner Review and Ingredients

Hey busy beauties.!! I have got you all a super exciting review this time. The Body shop Rainforest shine shampoo and conditioner are the two products that I am going to review for you guys today. One thing I can surely say, once you start loving the body shop products you’ll neither be able to move to some other brand nor stop using them. :p This happened to me 😛 . So be careful 😀

After I have smoothened ( as they call “smoothening” in salons, i didn’t know the past perfect word for please excuse me :p ) my hair has become so brittle and feels so lifeless. It has become so dry and rough. It is then i decided to something to my hair to give back its shine and health that it used be earlier…

P.S: If you want me to describe my horrible hair smoothening story, please let me know in the comments section below. I’ll write a separate article on it. So that you guys will be aware of the pros and cons of smoothening/ straitening your hair permanently.

Washing your hair properly with a proper shampoo and conditioner it then after that suits your hair type is really really important to a healthier hair and scalp. So here is a review of The Body Shop Rainforest shampoo and conditioner for you.

The Body Shop Rainforest shine Shampoo and Conditioner Review and Ingredients

The Body Shop Rainforest Shine Shampoo Review

What the product says: Leaves the the hair healthy looking with incredible shine. For best results, mix in the hands with water to create lather. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with Shine conditioner.

The bodyshop Rainforest champoo review

How I use-I generally take the shampoo in one palm full and work in lather with my both hands concentrating more on my scalp. I don’t usually apply shampoo at the ends as it makes the hair so frizzy and dry stripping away all the natural oils in it. (As you wash away your scalp, the shampoo as it washes away will also cleanse your ends)

Ingredients: There’s no ingredients listed on the bottle except- ” With pracaxi oil, cameline seed oil and Community Fair trade olive oil” listed in the front of the bottle. I guess you may find the complete list of ingredients on their website.

Net quantity: 250ml

Price : 795/- INR

Odor, color and texture: It has a nice and pleasant jasmine kinda smell that lingers the whole day- on the day you have washed your hair. It has no color. It has a runny texture like any other shampoo has.

The bodyshop Rainforest shampoo review

I have already used one bottle of this and brought a new one just few days back. So here I am today with a review of this shampoo for you.

🙂 Cleanses away dirt and leaves your scalp squeaky clean.

🙂 doesn’t make your hair dry. Suitable for normal to dry hair an oily hair. Doesn’t strip away the natural oils.

🙂 Controlled frizz better than any other shampoo i have ever used till now.

🙂 It has a nice flowery kinda smell that lingers all day long.

🙂 Cant say on the shine part, because i never just shampoo my hair and leave. But with conditioner, yes..! It does adds shine to my hair.

🙂 Travel friendly.

🙁 May end up using a lot of shampoo, especially when you have oiled your hair. As it doesn’t lather much when your scalp is either oily or dirty ( 3rd/4th day of your hair :p )

🙁 So, when you use more shampoo on those oily hair days, you’ll obviously end up the bottle quickly. So 795/- will not last that long. Mine lasted for 3 months, as I have medium-length hair.

The Body Shop Rainforest Shine Conditioner Review

What the product says: Conditions to smooth the hair’s surface for incredible shine and radiance. For best results, mix in the hands with water. Work through hair from roots to tip. Rinse. (“Root to tips”??   *skeptical”)

The bodyshop Rainforest conditioner review

How I use-I take enough product in my palm and add few drops of water to it as directed. Mix in my hands well and apply to the length of my hair without touching to the scalp. Leave it for a good 7-10 min and rinse i off. I once tried applying this conditioner from roots to the tips as said, Made my hair on the head super smooth and silky but had little hair fall. So then after i didn’t dared to apply it on my scalp. :p

Ingredients: There’s no ingredients listed on this bottle as well except- ” With pracaxi oil, cameline seed oil and Community Fair trade olive oil” listed in the front of the bottle. I guess you may find the complete list of ingredients on their website.

Net quantity: 250ml

Price : 795/- INR

Odor, color and texture: The shampoo and the conditioner kinda have same odor and this even lingers the whole day- on the day you have washed your hair and conditioned it. It has White color.. and a creamy texture.

The bodyshop Rainforest conditioner review

This is still my first bottle, It is about to finish in a week. As my hair’s length is not too long, i use only a small amount of it.

🙂 Adds shine. Made my hair smooth.

🙂 Easily detangles the hair.

🙂 My ends were less dry and rough.

🙂 Easily absorbs into the hair as soon as you apply. Doesn’t weigh down your hair.

🙂 Travel friendly too.

🙁 If applied to roots of your hair as directed, it may cause hair fall.

🙁 A normal mild, good conditioner. Extremely Frizzy hair beauties my not satisfy with this conditioner.

Overall, A good combo for this winter. Both the shampoo and the conditioner are Mild, chemicals-free, SLS free. If you are looking for a more strong conditioner for your hair, you may try some other. But these two are definitely worth a try at least once.

The Body shop Tea Tree skin clearing facial wash REVIEW with ingredients

Before getting into the body shop tea tree face wash review, Let me share something about my skin with you guys.

My face is kinda oily at the checks and nose. So I generally choose those face washes that aren’t too drying or too moisturizing. I tried many face washes which either claims to reduce oiliness but actually dries out my skin or claims to moisturize without making your face oily but end up making super oily after 2 hours or so. 🙁

After trying and searching for so many face washes in the hope to dig one which suits my skin or most probably understands my skin, I ended up losing my hope. I then used pears glycerin soap for few months, though not a perfect fit for my face, but yeah it was mild and kept that oiliness at bay at least for 5-6 hrs.

* winter time*. It is then I realized that my face was so dry and flaky, definitely not getting the enough moisturization it needed. Of course I agree, that in winters our skin need more moisturization than the usual days. U may think “ain’t she using moisturizer or any cold cream sort of?” haha :p   oh c’mon..!! Of course I do. But What if you are doing the first most important step of caring your skin- cleansing in the wrong way.

Choosing a face wash that is suitable to your skin type is extremely important for a beautiful and cleaner face. So, i have finally found my HG cleanser. Yaay..!! 🙂 Read the review, Hope it may help you too to choose one.

The Body shop Tea Tree skin clearing facial wash REVIEW

What the product claims: There isn’t anything described about what does this face wash do on the product. But Yeah, there is this statement ” SUITABLE FOR BLEMISHED SKIN” on the bottle.

Price and Quantity: 695/- INR for 250ml.

Ingredients: No ingredients list mentioned on the product, but i found them on a site listed here.

Water, Glycerin, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Polysorbate 20, Alcohol Denat., Panthenol, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, Allantoin, Citric Acid, p-Anisic Acid, Benzophenone-4, Menthol, Sodium Hydroxide, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Limonene, Leptospermum Petersonii (Lemon Tea Tree) Oil, t-Butyl Alcohol, Denatonium Benzoate, Tocopherol, Caramel, Yellow 5 Lake, Blue 1.

Odor: Some medicinal and tea tree mixed kinda smell it has. It has the same odor as “The body shop Tea tree body wash” has,If you have ever used it.

Color and texture: It has a light green color with a liquidy texture (liquidy? I don’t know, why i didn’t find any better word than this :p ).Anyway i have took a couple of pictures to give you guys a better idea of how the product looks like. Have a look. 🙂

The first time I washed my face with The Body Shop Tea Tree skin clearing facial wash:

The first time I was trying this face wash, I felt so excited ( Damn.! I really find excited to try new products, I don’t know why :p ). I cleansed my face for a good 1-minute, I could feel some menthol coolness after my face is washed and pat dry. My skin was so clean and smooth.

The Body shop Tea Tree face wash Pros and Cons:

🙂 The benefits of tea tree. Good for any skin type, especially for blemished skin.

🙂 A mild face wash that Gives a cooling effect after you wash you face. Kinda relaxing?

🙂 I cant exactly say but it did fade away my light acne marks or its because I also use this gel.?

🙂 Controlled my zits to some extent.

🙂 Doesn’t dry out the skin even in winters.

🙁 Sodium Laureth Sulfate??? Like really? I didn’t expect this. It doesn’t even lather much if there is even a light makeup on your face or any kinda dirt and impurities. I personally prefer to wash my face twice before going to bed. It is then I feel my face is clean now. :p

🙁 Not so travel friendly packaging. The usual TBS tub/bottle like packaging this face wash has. You cant carry a big shampoo like bottle everyday to your office or workplace right? 😀

🙁 Price is obviously a little high. But by seeing the quantity I feel it’s OK by calculating the other face washes’ prices and quantities. hahaha… :p

Worth a try? Yup.!! Surely give it a try once. Who knows, you might find solutions to some of your skin problems this winter. 😉

Buy it from here..

Did you use the face wash already? Or you gonna give it a try? Let’s have a chit chat in the comments section below 🙂

Lakme 9 TO 5 Weightless Mousse Foundation+Matte Complexion Compact review

This will be a very useful post for those who are newbies in doing makeup. Actually these two products which I am gonna review now are from Lakme 9 to 5 office Stylist makeup range which claims to provide “No touch ups” makeup finish. Read on to know does it really stand on its claims.

Lakme 9to5 Weightless Mousse Foundation Review:

What the product Says: This formula feels soft & incredibly weightless and provides the desired coverage for daily use. It blends effortlessly onto skin to conceal imperfections with a matte finish that stays through the day. A Foundation so lightweight, You may forget you are wearing  any foundation at all! Suitable for all skin types.

Lakme 9 to 5 review

Shade: 01 Rose Ivory

Price: 575 INR for 29 g

My take on the product:   If I can give you one reason why I admire this product is- its texture. It is so light and weightless, that you don’t even feel like you’re touching a cream or any foundation. The first time you touch this foundation you feel like you’re  touching some baby powder. It’s so soft, smooth, silky and lightweight. It can easily be applied on your face with just your fingers. No need of any foundation brushes to apply, unlike others. It gives such a even finish on your face, you don’t even feel that you have wore foundation. I sometimes even skip applying compact or face powder after applying this foundation. It nicely covers all the imperfections on your face. I have acne prone skin, and faded scars. It covers up all those so well.

Lakme 9 to 5 review 4

🙂 Weightless mousse Foundation, that gives a no-makeup look.

🙂 Covers up all the light scars and redness on your face. No clogging of pores.

🙂 Clear and even finish. No cakey  makeup look. yaay.!

🙂 Can go with a moisturizer(with SPF) and this mousse foundation, when running out of time.

🙂 Suitable for all skin types.

🙁 Doesn’t stay more than 5 hrs for oily skin beauties,, need a touch-up.

🙁 No SPF, Although If you have a moisturizer with SPF in it, then its 🙂

🙁 May not cover dark spots.

Lakme 9to5 Matte Complexion Compact Review:

What the product Says: With a unique oil absorbing formula that gives you a matte and flawless look throughout the day. Infused with vitamin E to condition your skin.

Lakme 9 to 5 review

Shade: Melon Matte

Price: 375 INR for 8 g

My take on the product: This Compact comes in a glossy rose shade packaging. The powder is lightweight and gives a matte finish look when applied with any foundation. It has three different shades- Melon, Apricot and almond. Mine is Melon matte shade which is suitable for my skin tone( light/fair skin tone). This goes best when applied with Lakme 9 to 5 Mousse foundation. Earlier i used Ponds BB cream and this compact. It gives more of a cakey makeup look, as the BB cream was so heavy. 🙁 Below are the pictures i attached after using both mousse foundation and compact. Let me quickly sum up the pros and cons of this compact.

🙂 Lightweight and soft pressed compact powder.

🙂 Gives a matte finish makeup look.

🙂 Good for oily skin and normal skin beauties.

🙂 Controls oils and doesn’t clog pores.

🙂 perfect for office makeup look.

🙁 Doesn’t stay for more than 5 hours, need to touch up.

🙁 May be drying for dry skin beauties.

Patanjali DIVYA Dant Manjan REVIEW:

Well, Needless to say as we all know patanjali products are one of the best products which does what it claims that too with the power of herbs and natural ingredients. I guess this is the reason which makes us love these products the most than any other. 🙂  Patanjali DIVYA Dant Manjan comes in a handy container type small bottle that has a flip top cap with a small hole on the cap of the container. This allows the right amount of product to fall on your palm.

Neither too much nor too little. Its packaging is quite simple and handy to use even while travelling. To talk about the color of the product,  it is in brownish shade (Take a look at the picture below).

To take on the effectiveness of the product, it is quite satisfactory. A small amount of the powder will do the job (Do not take more product as you will definitely end up wasting it). Seriously, 2-4g is more than enough. As your brush, the powder foams a little which gives you “looks-like-i’am-actually-brushing-with powder” feeling 😛 .This also reminded me that there wouldn’t be any sulfates or silicates that would give much foam as toothpastes ( Thumbs up for this 😉 ). I suggest you not to brush for more than 2 minutes as the Cinnamon and the other herbs may overpower your mouth. After you wash , your mouth and teeth feel so squeaky clean and fresh. 😀

Does the product gives justice to what it claims?  Yeah..! Quite well. Although it doesn’t specify on whitening part of the teeth, it maintains the oral hygiene and also reduces any teeth and gum related problems.

Worth a try/buy?  If you don’t have any special problem seeing your toothbrush a little yellow, then its surely a worth to try.

UPDATE ( After 7 months of using)

I am updating it again after using it for almost more than 7 months now. Believe me I’m still using the same which i bought for the first time and it is about to end now. LOL. I still cant believe that i used this tooth powder for more than half an year and still not bored of it. Seriously, the quantity is so much to use for a single person   (FYI to check how long the product lasts, am the only one who used this form my whole family. hehe)

Another TIP I discovered myself was- As a Mouth wash 🙂

Just in case If I am lazy or I didnt find time to brush my teeth in the night before going to sleep. I’ll just put a small teaspoon of “Patanjali Divya Dant Manjan” in my mouth and then gargle with water for 30 or 40 seconds. It acts as a natural mouthwash, cleans your teeth and freshnens your breath. Isn’t that a life Hack now 😀

Try this next time. Only in case if you are lazy as I am. 😛

VLCC Skin Defense Sandal Cleansing Milk Review and Ingredients

Today i am gonna review ” VLCC Skin defense sandal cleansing milk”.

I generally don’t use/never used any cleansing milk until i have tried the new “VLCC sandal cleansing milk“. It was actually suggested by one of my friend as my skin appeared to be so dry and flaky from a couple of days. Specially after i apply my compact powder, the cheek area and the nose area would become so flaky. As i have not-too-oily skin, within 2-3 hours the oiliness on my face would cover up the flakiness on my face (sometimes, having an oily skin has its own advantages 😛 ) . But i would really get irritated by that flakiness, that would spoil my mood at the start of every work day. 🙁

And then my friend has suggested me to use “VLCC skin defense sandal cleansing milk” when i discussed with her about this problem. I also read few good reviews about this product and started using this. I’ll review this product in how different way it has helped me. Read on to know more 🙂

What the product claims?

This refreshing non-foaming cleansing milk is enriched with the goodness of sandalwood, Almond & Indian Berberry extracts. It deep cleanses skin impurities, nourishes and helps heals the skin.

Why to use a Cleansing milk?

Well, Cleansing is the vital part of your skin care regime (Cleanse, tone and moisturize). If the initial step is not done properly, there’s no point of carrying on to toning and moisturizing. The everyday dirt and grime clogs your skin pores and dosent allow your skin to breathe and your normal cleanser/face wash cannot help you to do such a tough task. This ultimately leads to skin problems like acne, pimples & imperfections, which makes your skin dry and dull (and sometimes flaky as mine 🙁 ). So to keep your skin nourished and healthy, it is important that you keep your skin well cleansed, especially before going to bed.

So, here is the review of “VLCC skin defense sandal cleansing milk”. Read on to know whether the product is worth a try.

The product packaging is done in a travel friendly sturdy pack. The consistency of the product is quite runny and is white in color as you can see the swatch below. The fragrance of this cleansing milk is so heavenly that I can see myself enjoying smelling the product that i have just used on my hand. It still lingers ^_^. It smells absolutely like the sandal.

How good is the product?

Coming to the performance of the product, it stands for what it claims. This is the first cleanser that i have tried and completely loved it.A must have cleanser to keep your skin cleansed well and nourished. In my case, it has helped me to clear dryness and flakiness on my skin within 4-5 days. It has also helped me to diminish the redness on my cheek area to some extent. I usually use it in the night time before i go to bed, so that my skin feels fresh and less dry in the morning.
