Intense Hot oil treatment with 6 oils – Straightened & Damaged Hair #1

If you have ever straightened or smoothened( I don’t know the correct spelling but this is how the beauticians or the parlor guys call it)  your hair, then you could have loved your hair like never before. But wait, did you ever tried doing it again after a couple of months later? How does your hair look now? Horrible? Right? You might have also literally cried after seeing your once-beautiful-hair in such condition.

Do not worry, because you are not alone. Yeah..!! I experienced this Sh*t. I literally freaked out after I saw my hair the next morning I smoothned it. If you could compare the dried grass and my hair, the grass would won being better than my hair. I never ever saw my hair in such a condition. My tears were at the verge of my eyes to start roll down on my cheek.

I have no damn Idea why did my hair has become like this. I soon went to that  parlor in which I have done my smoothening and asked that fellow- why the heck is my hair like this? Surprising he has no idea of it and casually guessed the reason might be because of re-smoothening the hair which was already done earlier ( that too an year ago. Seriously?).

What ever it might be, I cannot get my hair back. That for sure, I thought.

It’s almost been an year since this happened

And then I decided, No matter What I’ll repair my hair and get the sheer that it once had. I was determined and was trying every natural remedy to bring back the life in my hair.

In this process, I have explored some of the best methods which are specially beneficial to straightened/ smoothned hair. So here we go. The first series is about an intense hot oil treatment to bring back the lost moisture in your hair.

Before we start, let me tell you one thing, If you are still using any heat styling tools…Stop using them right now. RIGHT NOW.!! Let your hair breathe.

Series #1- Intense Hot Oil Treatment for dry hair

I am not talking about the store brought hair oils which are stuffed with cheap mineral oils that only harm your hair more and cause hair fall( I am really thankful to god that this incident didn’t cause my hair to fall). Using some of the best cold pressed and unrefined oils for your scalp not only helps to regain your moisture in your hair but also repair the hair shaft that is damaged due to severe heat and styling.

I am using these 6 oils that are best at its quality to prepare my own intense hot oil treatment for dry hair.

These are the oils that i use

Olive oil : Nourishes the hair, controls frizz and smoothens damaged hair.

Don’t Panic. This is not as complicated that you need to start worrying about the preparation of this oil for hot oil treatment. I’ll just break down this method into 3 types that best suits for your hair type or condition.

For severely burnt, dry and frizzy hair

This kind of hair is more prone to breakage and if not cared properly may lead to severe hair fall too. This type of hair is adamant to stay at its place properly. You hair looks like a bundle of fried grass literally.

This right potion of oils will help you control your frizz to a great extent.

  • 1 tbsp of Castor oil
  • 3 tbsp of Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of Almond oil
  • 1 tbsp of Jojoba oil
  • 1 tbsp of Argan oil
  • 1 tbsp of Coconut oil

For rough, uneven ends – Completely unmanageable

This type of hair is caused when the ends are extremely dry and that causes split ends easily. Each and every stand will have split ends. This is because your hair has completely fried and in addition to that you have used chemicals to treat them which even made them look more worse.

If so, then this is the right portion of oils that you can try to diminish the damage further.

  • 2 tbsp of Jojoba oil
  • 2 tbsp of Argan oil
  • 1 tbsp of Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1/2 tbsp of Castor oil
  • 1 tbsp of Almond oil

For always tangled hair and that even causes hair fall

This kinda hair is which you need to be extremely careful with. The hair becomes so thin due to excessive straitening and usage of chemicals.  As a result, it easily tangles up and if handled roughly while detangling your hair causes hair fall.

Try this simple recipe to combat hairfall and smothen your hair with every wash after you use this hot oil treatment.

  • 2 tbsp of Coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp of Castor oil
  • 1 tbsp of Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of Almond oil
  • 1 tbsp of Argan oil
  • 1 tbsp of Jojoba oil

The right way to heat up your oil

Using micro-oven to heat up your oil, is not recommended. It will heat the oil beyond its heating point and the oils may lose its natural properties thereafter.  Instead try heating up your oil mildly using double boiling method.

This is How you can do it:

  • Take a large bowl of hot water. Now half immerse the bowl in which you have put your oils mixture.Wait for 5 min.

  • Now stir the oil well and apply all over your hair.
