Recipe: DIY Best Soap Free cleanser for oily skin
1. Take one tablespoon of Powdered Oats into a mixing bowl and add one tablespoon of Organic Rose petal powder into it.
2. Now the tricky part is adding French Green Clay in the right proportion. If your face gets oily quickly and your entire face stays super oily/greasy there after, then you may need to add one and half tablespoon of this clay. If your face is oily but not greasy and gets oily only at some places like T-Zone or chin, then add 3/4th tablespoon of this clay. The point to note here is, Clay draws out the excess oil from your face and keeps it well cleansed for hours. If your face gets too oily, it is better to add a little more French Green clay into this recipe and if gets not too oily then reduce the amount to 3/4 – 1 tablespoon. I am adding 3/4th of a tablespoon here as my skin is not that oily that it used to be be 2 years because of using commercial face washes and soaps.
3.Mix all the ingredients well and add 6 drops of Lemon essential oil into it and whisk it well so that there are no lumps formed. You can skip this step if you do not have lemon essential oil with you at present. But don’t miss if you have it.
4. Store this mixture in an air tight container and label it as “Rosy Clay cleanser”. I label my jars because i like to experiment with different cleanse from time to time and I need to know what is there in which jar for using it later.
